PDP Reconciliatory Committee Visits Otunba Gbenga Daniel

The National Working Committee of the PDP constituted the Reconciliatory Committee to reach out to some key National leaders. They have visited General Ibrahim Babangida, General Abdusalam Abubakar, General Ahmed Gusau, Professor Jerry Gana, Senator David Mark and now OGD. They will be visiting Atiku next.

Dr. Babangida Aliyu CON former Governor and Chief Servant of Niger State; Kabir Tanimu Turaki, former Minister and Presidential Aspirant; Rt. Hon. Austin Opara, former Deputy Speaker House of Representatives; Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe (Abia), Senate Minority Leader; Chief Bola Olu-Ojo, former PDP Chairman, Ekiti State; and Dr Emmanuel Agbo, Deputy National Secretary of the PDP, Mrs. Stella Omu; Senator Istifanus Gyang (Plateau); Mrs. Tafawa Balewa and Hon. Ademola Omotosho from Oyo State.
The Delegation were received on the OGD side by His Exc. Otunba Gbenga Daniel; Rt. Hon. Adesegun Adekoya Abdel-Majid, Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives and lawmaker representing Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency; and Mr. Segun Sowunmi, Spokeperson of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCO).
Soundbites. The team wants OGD back in PDP and recounted that he has more to offer the party.
Governor Bala Mohammed recalled that OGD was instrumental to his (Bala) winning the Primary which led to his becoming the Governor of Bauchi State.
Hon. Omotosho said the day that OGD came to Oyo State in his Advocacy shuttle on behalf of PDP to several political leaders in Oyo State like Chief Rasidi Ladoja, Alao Akala, Seyi Makinde etc was the day they were all convinced that PDP will win the election in Oyo State.
Hon. Adekoya Adesegun said he has only one political leader in Ogun State and that is OGD.
Chief Bola Olu-Ojo recounted that he has known OGD since their days at the University of Lagos and they have ever been friends since.
Alhaji Kabir Tanimu Turaki said it was OGD who persuaded him to work and support the Presidential ambition of Atiku Abubakar in 2019.
