Segun Adewale Sacked As PDP Lagos Chairman
The embattled Lagos State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Mr. Segun Adewale along side other illegally imposed Chairmen of PDP believed to be loyal to the recently sacked National Chairman Ali Modu Sheriff has been axed by the authentic leader of the party, Senator Makarfi.
The announcement came at the expanded caucus meeting of PDP leaders in Abuja on Monday Night, WAILERSNG gathered.
The statement reads:
The illegal caretaker committee, imposed or self appointed chairmen constituted in some state like Jigawa, Lagos, Benue and others are here dissolved and elected executives that won in states congress organised are officially approved to take over with immediate effect. -Sen. Ahmed Makarfi at the Ongoing National Caucus Meeting.
What this means is that Mr. Salvador will automatically take over leadership of PDP in Lagos, although Senator Makarfi did not say if PDP candidates vying for elective posts in the forthcoming Local Council election in Lagos will still participate or not.
