Prince Odulaja rejoices with Adebutu, wife on new chieftaincy titles
The popular Ijebu Central politician, Prince Olufemi Odulaja, has congratulated the Peoples’ Democratic Party’s candidate in Ogun State 2019 governorship election, Hon (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu, and his wife, Adenike, on the conferment of new chieftaincy titles of Baajipe and Yeye Baajipe of Ijofin by HRM Oba Moruf Ayinla Awode, the Ololo of Ijofin Kingdom in Ogun State.
The occasion which was held at the palace of the traditional ruler, on Saturday, November 17, 2018, was graced by prominent monarchs, high chiefs, the good people of Ijofin kingdom and well wishers from across Ogun State.
Hon Adebutu in return pledged his continued support for the Kingdom. He enjoined the people to always call upon him at anytime for service as service to humanity remains his calling.
While stating his resolve to ensure the Ijofin kingdom feels the effects of good governance in 2019 when elected, the Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development, assures them of his accessibility as he puts it “I maintain an open door policy.”
It will be recalled that Adebutu was recently installed as the Baba Oba of Odo-Jobore. This is an indication of trust in Adebutu’s leadership and appreciation of his unending contributions to the betterment of the society.
Prince Odulaja, however, wished him success in his new undertaken to the good people of Ijofin Kingdom and major victory at the poll come 2019.
