COSON gets muddier as NCC suspends operations
The many devil bedeviling the insistence of Tony Okoroji leadership of Copyright Organisation of Nigeria, COSON, gets bigger by the day as the Nigerian Copyright Commission, NCC, has suspended the body operations.
In a letter dated April 30, 2018 and made available to MetroNews NG, it was stated that the operating licence of COSON as a collective management organisation for music and sound recordings was suspended with immediate effect.

Not only that, the embattled body is also banned from withdrawing funds for all purposes except meeting emoluments. See letter below:
As the future of COSON looks bleak, stakeholders are appealing to Chief Tony Okoroji to collapse his leadership structure for the duly elected Efe Omorogbe to save the body from demise.
