It appears that Kogi State Governor, Yahyah Bello, is in a hurry to finish work on some of his personal projects before his government winds up. The rumour became rife following the beginning and completion of his palatial bullet proof country mansion located at Okene Kogi State; a development that is fast turning the upscale area where the gigantic house is located to a tourist site were people visit to view the jaw dropping architectural masterpiece erected by the young and dandy Governor.
A source revealed that the house is fitted with some very expensive pieces of furniture’s, interior and exterior decorations imported from oversea. The dream mansion was launched today the 7th of November, amidst hunger and non payment of Kogi state workers salary.
Its no doubt, Yahyah Bello is one of the most influential governors in Nigeria today. It is believed that his growing influence may not be unconnected to his cordial and filial relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari his political godfather.
Civil servants in the North Central state, have allegedly continued to lament continuously over the arrears of unpaid salaries and other allowances owed by the state government under Bello’s watch.
