In a press release signed by the Project Coordinator, Yomi Fash-Lanso, the organizing committee of Afro-Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment Award (AHBEA), empathises with Nollywod industry on the sudden deaths of its members that occurred recently.
The organizing committee of Afro-Heritage Broadcasting and Entertainment Award (AHBEA), sympathizes with Africa entertainment industry especially the Nigerian entertainment industry, particularly the movie sector on the loss in recent time of some of our most versatile, prolific and creative actors and actresses.
We join all other well meaning Nigerians home and abroad to mourn the loss and hereby send our condolences to the bereaved families. We also pray that the Almighty God grant the departed souls eternal rest in perfect peace.
We hereby seize this opportunity to call on all stakeholders professional associations and industry practitioners attention to the need to give maximum and absolute priority to health insurance and the need to cut down on work hours as its practised in other professional industry outside Nigeria i.e Hollywood, Bollywood etc.
May we not die young, may GOD put an end to evil in our industry. May we all live long to enjoy the fruit of our labour, Amen.
Thank you and God bless you.
